Nestled in the picturesque heart of Tarbert on Loch Fyne, Red Herring Restaurant began as a small, welcoming restaurant with a passion for serving the freshest, local seafood and produce in a warm, friendly atmosphere.
Fresh from the pier to your plate, every morning our fish and seafood a delivered fresh to ensure the highest quality for our customers. We a proud to use on premium fresh ingredients, supporting local produce, local food and a carefully selected range of local beers and whiskies. We believe that using local products and maintaining high standards is at the heart of everything we do.
After successfully building a loyal customer base in Tarbert and receiving wonderful feedback from both locals and visitors, we expanded to our second location in Campbeltown – which has also become a great success.
No matter which location you visit, you will always find the same food, the same standards and the same commitment to quality and service.
Our menu offers something for everyone, from our gorgeous seafood platters to perfectly cooked steaks, delicious pasta dishes, vegetarian options and many more choices, giving our customers something to suit every taste.
We also offer takeaway service and are open daily from 12am for both sit-in dining and takeaway meals.
